Lori Jean West

Lori West, age 63, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, at U of L Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

She was born on April 15, 1962, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late James and Nelda Broy.

Lori spent many years working in manufacturing and was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. Outside of her career, Lori’s heart was always with her family. She especially treasured the moments spent with her beloved grandchildren. Her love for them and her generous, nurturing spirit will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

In addition to her parents , Lori was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and Jimmy Broy. She is survived by her sons, Jason Abell(Michelle), Darrell Propes(Alicia); sisters, Martha Dunn(Jimmy), Sandra Broy; along with 4 grandchildren, Nicholas, Abigail, Alex, Liam.

There will be a visitation held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 10-1:30pm at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main St, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. Burial will follow at Eastern Cemetery.
