Linda Sue (Rose) Stinson

Linda Sue Stinson, 63, passed away, Thursday, March 2, 2023 with her family by her side.

She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on November 26, 1959 to the late Randall Rose and Margie Rose Rucker.

Linda was a former housekeeper for Rockford Manor Nursing Home and a Baptist by faith. She enjoyed cooking for her family; she also loved gardening, she had a house full of plants. She never met a stranger and she treated everyone she met with love. Linda also enjoyed knitting and was an avid U of L fan. Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, Richard C. Stinson.

Those left to cherish her memories are her two children, Anthony W. “Tony” Stinson (Nancy) and Stephanie R. “Raven” Meredith (Dion); six grandchildren, Austin Stinson (Patty), Brian Finerty, Drew Meredith (April), Carmalita Meredith, Blaze Finerty and Haeleigh Combs; two great grandchildren, Nevaeh Meredith and Kaison Bailey; one brother, Randy Rose; and her beloved fur-babies, Max, Zoey and Smokey Ann.

Visitation for Linda will be Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from Noon-6:00 p.m. with funeral services starting at 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Center-Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market Street.
