Leo P. Wilbert, Jr., 76, passed away on October 14, 2025 at home.

Leo was born and raised and lived almost all of his life in Louisville, Ky. He was the son of
Leo P. Wilbert, Sr. and Dorothy M. Wilbert (Vest). He was a long time and retired employee
of TARC’s Purchasing Department. He was a man who always loved to tinker, build and
mess around with electronics and computers.

He is survived in death by his children, Leo Wilbert III, Christopher Wilbert, Sr. (Diane),
James Wilbert (Candace), Julie Decker (Josh), and Steven Wilbert. He also has 11
grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leo & Dorothy; his brother, Woody Issac; his wife, Betty
Wilbert (Wilson); and ex-wife, Keena Hooks.

Visitation and service will be at Legacy Funeral Center - Schoppenhorst Chapel at 1832 W. Market Street, Louisville,
KY, 40203. Visitation will be Monday, October 20, 2025f from 11 AM to 2 PM. Service will follow at 2 PM.
