Laura Renee' Oates

Laura Renee' Oates, 64, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on July 3, 2025.

She was born on March 30, 1961, in New Albany, Indiana, the daughter of Lynn and Patricia Oates.

Laura worked for many years in sales at the former Circuit City, where she was known for her dedication, strong work ethic, and her genuine enjoyment of helping the public. Her knowledge of electronics and her ability to connect with customers made her a trusted and valued part of the team.

Outside of work, Laura had a natural talent for nurturing plants and took great pride in her green thumb. She also had an impressive knack for technology, often surprising others with how effortlessly she navigated electronic devices. More than anything, Laura loved her family deeply and cherished the time spent with them.

She will be remembered for her warmth, her quiet strength, and her caring spirit.

Laura was preceded in death by her father, Lynn Oates; sister, Diana Hunn. She is survived by her loving mother, Patricia Oates.
