Larry Montez Walker Jr., affectionately known as "Lil Larry," brought joy to all who knew him. Born on September 15, 1999, to Monique Johnson and Larry Walker Sr., he radiated warmth and love. Tragically, on March 2, 2024, at the tender age of 23, he departed this world, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and laughter.

Larry's infectious smile and boundless energy could brighten even the darkest of days. He was a beacon of positivity, always ready with a helping hand or a joke to lift spirits. His passion for life was evident in his love for dance, laughter, and camaraderie.

Larry leaves behind a grieving family, including his parents, sisters, nephews, and nieces, as well as countless friends who cherished him deeply. He is preceded in death by beloved family members but leaves behind a multitude of cherished memories. In the hearts of those who knew him, Larry's spirit will forever live on. He was a unique soul, irreplaceable and unforgettable—a true blessing to all who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Preceded in death; Uncles Bobby Walker, Robert Shields, Gary Walker, and William Nothington; Grandfather, William Walker Jr, Grandmother, Yolonda Jo Johnson, and Great Grandmother: Joyce Marie Townsend.   

He is survived by his parents Monique Johnson & Larry Walker Sr., and his Step father Rodrick Leonard who loved him dearly.  His beautiful sisters Brianna Harris, Janae Russell and Mayel Johnson. Larry had many nephews, and nieces. A family he created (Breewayy). He was loved dearly by many friends, especially his best friends Busta Washington and Sarah. Aunts: Lisa Martin (Selma, Alabama) Rochelle Walker, LaShaunda Walker, Stacey Hammond, Oksana Hardison, and Kela Courtney; Uncles: Brice McFarland (Tampa, Florida) William Kannamore, William Walker III, Grandmother Celia Bell Walker (Selma, Alabama), Grandfather, Bronston Hardison; Larry’s uncles: Anthony, and George (Demitrious) Northington.

To know Larry was to love Larry and there will never be another. He was truly one in a million!
