Kenyatta McGhee

Kenyatta McGhee, 44, of Jeffersonville, Indiana was called home on May 19, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on January 4, 1980 in Louisville, Kentucky, daughter of John McGhee and Rhonda McGhee. Kenyatta worked in Customer Service for Environmental Services and was a dedicated worker.

She attended Guilt Edge Baptist Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana and enjoyed reading, dancing and singing. Kenyatta loved her family and friends very much and her beloved dog, April.

She was preceded in death by her brother, John McGhee Jr.

She is survived by her mother, Rhonda McGhee; father, John McGhee( Kathy Curry McGhee); sisters, Santana McGhee(Antwan), Deatra Van Horn( Robert); God sister, Desha Davis (Tharon); brother, Harry S. Taliefer; along with nieces De’Azia Walls, Ny’Dia Cooper; special friend, Dmon Lee and many cousins.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 12-4pm with service to follow at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.
