Kenneth Lee King, born in Louisville, Kentucky, on September 6, 1964, passed away on August 27, 2026.

Kenneth will be remembered by those who knew and loved him for his independent spirit, his love of the outdoors, and the many things that brought him joy throughout his life. He had a particular passion for treework and took pride in working with his hands. He also enjoyed motorcycles, hunting, and fishing, and had a deep appreciation for his guns and knives.

Kenneth had a special love for animals, especially his beloved cats, CB, Missy, and Jade, who brought him companionship and happiness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nancy Murphy and Garland Wayne King; and his brother, Cory King.

Kenneth is survived by his son, David Earley; his brothers, Keith David King (Tianda) and Craig Montgomery King (Martha); and his cousin, Eric Steven Wilbur (Amanda). He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Legacy Funeral Service – Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 West Market Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40203 with burial to follow at Timberlake Cemetery in Hart County, Kentucky.

Kenneth's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will be remembered for the life he lived, the things he loved, and the people and animals who meant so much to him.
