Kenneth Wayne Collins

Kenneth “Kenny” Collins, 65, of Clarksville, Indiana, died peacefully at home on March 23, 2026. He will be deeply missed by his family and by everyone who knew him.

Born in Russellville, Kentucky, on August 22,1960. Kenny was known for being friendly and welcoming. He had a way of talking with anyone and making people feel comfortable.

He was proud of his many years working at the Louisville airport as a private airplane maintenance technician. He loved music, enjoyed watching old westerns, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, John Gordon and Georgia Mae; his son, Terrious Collins; and by siblings Charles Beck, Gina Gordon, and Larry Beck. He is survived by his loving wife, Rose Collins; his children Latrice, Kenneth, David Thomas, Jureice Gordon, Timothy Jones, Courtney Starling, Terry Ferrell, and Terrell Ferrell; 28 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings Archie Beck, Tereso Gordon, Mosko Gordon, Greg Collins, Stephane Collins, Diana Collins, Johnathan Collins, Tobeika Elliott, Kevin Donan, Shawn Matthews, Jason Lyons, Tina Evans, Anthony Evans, Jamancus Gordon, Larry Beck, Lamont Evans, Shernita Collins, and Ferrie Hampton.

Visitation will be Monday, April 6, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, IN 47130.  of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to help with final expenses.
