Kenneth Wayne Cartwright Sr.

Kenneth Wayne Cartwright, Sr. 75, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on March 12, 2024. He was born on July 31, 1948 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late James E. Cartwright, Sr. and Thelma B. Davis Cartwright.

Kenneth had attended the Meigs Avenue Church of Christ in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 39 years of service. He enjoyed golf, hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by his grandchildren, Keiarra Marie Cartwright.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Parketta Sedwick Cartwright; son, Kenneth Cartwright, Jr. of Jeffersonville; daughter, grandchildren, Miah Elise of Louisville, Jada Alexandria of Louisville, one great-grandson, Kahmryn La’ vantay Thompson, Jr. of Louisville; brother; James (Janice) Cartwright Sr, 2 aunts, Kate Davis of Jeffersonville, and Addie Mae Cartwright of Louisville; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 11-1pm with service starting at 1pm at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. Burial to follow at Eastern Cemetery,
