Kathleen Rae Rinker, age 77, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024. She was born on April 18, 1947, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Harry Williamson and Peggy Medlock Williamson.
Kathleen worked in management for Hancock Fabrics for several years, where she developed many cherished friendships. She was an avid quilter and seamstress who found great joy in creating beautiful pieces for her family and friends. Years ago, Kathleen enjoyed square dancing alongside her husband, parents, and children, forming memories that brought joy to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman L. Rinker, her parents, and her granddaughter, Laura Rinker.
Kathleen is survived by her two sons, Alan Rinker and Bryan Rinker (Teresa); her loving grandchildren, Christopher Scott (Morgan), Zachary Scott (Felicia), Anthony Rinker, Cody Clark, Emily McGill (Blake), Kiawna Rinker (Tyler), Reece Clark, and Alayna Rinker; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters, Karen Williamson and Francell Gibbs, as well as numerous extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
A memorial service to celebrate Kathleen’s life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Chapel of the Legacy Scott Funeral Home, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
Kathleen's warmth, creativity, and love for her family will be fondly remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
