Judith Ellen Taylor, who came into the world on March 5, 1945 in Milltown, Indiana, to Wanda and Vernon Snider, passed away on July 10, 2026.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Donnie and Jerry Snider.  She was surrounded by those that loved her as she went to sleep in woke up with our Lord and everyone she loved that went before her.

Judith lived with a faith that was steady and deep. She loved the Lord, and you could see it in the way she moved through the world. She had an awe for all of God’s creation . It didn’t matter if it was the smallest bug in the grass, the largest animal, the highest mountain, or the deepest part of the ocean. It all amazed her.  She cherished the quiet of early mornings, the beauty of flowers, the stillness that comes before the day begins and ends.  To Judith, it was all God's endless creation, and she never stopped marveling at it.

She couldn’t have children of her own, but she poured that love out into the family and All her pets she considered her children . She leaves behind her sister, Rebecca Steenbergen; her brother, Rick Snider; her Niece/Caregiver, Tracy Spence (Jimmy), Tammy Ellis (Campbell) Jerry Snider (Kristine) Brian Steenbergen, Brittany Steenbergen, Eddie Snider, Katie Snider, Christina Forge, and a host of great nieces and great nephews.  In addition, Cousin Linda Johnston, her lifetime friend, and Twyla Sparks, who knew her endless dedication to the Lord and family firsthand. Judith’s life reminds us to slow down, to notice the beauty in small things, and to meet the world with wonder and faith. May we carry that with us as we remember her.

**Funeral services will be held 2 PM on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at Legacy Funeral Center; Scott Chapel (921 Main Street; Jeffersonville, IN 47130), officiated by Bruce Farnsley. Friends may visit from 11 AM until service time at 2PM.

Burial will follow in Milltown Cemetery (East Main Street; Milltown, IN 47115).
