Judith "Judy" Mutschler, 80, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on November 30, 2024, She was born on November 19, 1944, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the daughter of the late George and Dorothy Knowland.
Judy dedicated many years of her life working as a library assistant before retiring. Her love of books and knowledge reflected her kind and inquisitive spirit. She was a longtime member of Charlestown Independent Church, where her faith and fellowship were cornerstones of her life.
Judy had a creative soul and was known for her beautiful embroidery, and her artistic flair. She found joy in expressing herself through her crafts and bringing smiles to those around her with her talents and hospitality.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Paul "Skip" Mutschler; grandsons, Jeremy and Corey Wilcoxen: and sister Sharon Woods. She is survived by her loving daughters, Laurie Tucker(Doug), Dawn Holiday, CherylAnne Wilson (Todd); sister, Deanna Elmore(Jim); brother, Gary Knowland; along with 12 grandchildren, Kyle Tucker(Jenna), Jesse Tucker(Samantha), Hannah Chan(David), Erin Wilcoxen, Bethany Mussman(Matthew), Stephen Kramp, Jessica McGee(Logan), Amy LeDuc(Bryan), Michael Wilson(Tina), Luc Wilson; and 15 great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation held on Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 2-6pm at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. Her Funeral will be on Monday, December 9, 2024 From 10–12 with service at 12 at Legacy Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
