Joseph Judson Brooks

Joseph Judson Brooks, 86, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on October 31, 2023. He was born on March 25, 1937 in Louisville, Kentucky son of Charles & Helen Brooks. Joseph worked in the automotive industry for 30 years as a salesman. He was not just a car salesman; he was a trusted friend and advisor to countless customers and dedicated himself to find the perfect vehicle for their needs.

Joseph was a deep rooted Catholic by faith and found solace and joy on the golf course, where he displayed a remarkable skill and love for the game. He also had a passion for traveling and all the adventures that it led him to. Joseph loved and cherished his family time and had an appreciation for firearms.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Hutchison; children, Ann Michelle Hibbard-Brooks, Thomas C. Brooks, Barbara Marie Cassidy. Joseph is survived by his son, Gregory Joseph Brooks; brother, Charlie Brooks(Julie); daughter-in-law, Linda Brooks; first wife, Sara Brooks,  along with 5 grandchildren, Mitchell Brooks, Joseph Brooks, William Brooks(Codi), David Hibbard (Andrea), Hope Cassidy; along with nephews, Brian and Stephen Brooks.

There will be a Memorial service held on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11:00am located at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1752 Scheller Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
