Jose Antonio Morones

Jose Antonio Morones, 74, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on July 26, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on July 19, 1950 in Mexico , son of Cristobal Morones and Antonia (Garcia) Morones. 

Jose was a dedicated worker in the restaurant business and enjoyed serving and taking care of his customers. He was a member of Christ Gospel Church and had a passion for sports, especially his beloved Cowboys & Yankees. Jose loved his family and friends very much and enjoyed spending time with them.

He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Morones; sons, Jose Morones Vergara  and Jonathan Morones Vergara; 3 grandchildren, Isabella, Atalia, Mateo, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 10-12pm with service to follow at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. Burial will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
