Johnathan Lee Rodgers, lovingly known as "Man-Man," passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, in Louisville, KY. Born on September 8, 2009, to Katie Offutt and Dervon Rodgers, Johnathan was a bright star who lived his life with fearless enthusiasm and a maturity well beyond his years.
Johnathan was a beacon of kindness and selflessness, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. His infectious smile and innate ability to make others laugh could light up any room. A true family-oriented young man, he cherished his loved ones deeply and approached life with a unique blend of independence and respectfulness.
An avid gamer and social media enthusiast, Johnathan found joy in playing video games and sharing moments on Instagram. His sharp wit and problem-solving skills set him apart, making him not just a beloved family member but also a friend to many.
Despite his young age, Johnathan possessed an old soul, evident in his thoughtful demeanor and the strength of his quiet yet impactful voice. Handsome and well-mannered, he carried himself with a grace that was admired by all who knew him. His legacy of love, humor, and compassion will forever be remembered by his family and friends.
Johnathan Lee Rodgers leaves behind a legacy of love and unforgettable memories. He will forever be a legend in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Johnathan is preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, John Allen, and Emmanuel Duke; great-great grandmother, Nellie Offutt; and his grandparents on his father’s side.
Left to cherish his memory, Johnathan is survived by his parents, Katie Offutt, and Dervon Rodgers; siblings, Robert, Kaytiana, Savannah, and 12 additional siblings on his father’s side; grandmothers, Yolanda Darnell, and June Rodgers; great-grandmother, Stella Allen; aunts, Tiffany Williams, and Brittany Banks; uncles, Anthony Duke, Ronald Offutt, Rickie Offutt, and Rodney Offutt; and a host of extended family and close friends.
