John "Johnny" Clan Obituary

John Thomas “Johnny” Clan, 62, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at his home in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on June 12, 1961, to J.T. Hilbert and Agnes “Libby” Clan in Bardstown, Kentucky. Johnny was a loving husband, father, Paps, and brother, and his family meant the world to him. Johnny was a bit stubborn, but had a great sense of humor, and was always smiling. He was a hard-worker, and was dedicated to his family and friends. Johnny also loved to ride his Harley, and was a proud member of the Portland Ironheads Motorcycle Club. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing guitar, watching NASCAR, listening to his favorite old country and rock, spending time with Pap’s girl, Bella Boo, and having a nice cold beer. Johnny will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, J.T. Hilbert, and Agnes “Libby” Clan Vittitow; son, J.T. Burba; and a brother, Roger Vittitow.

Left to cherish his memory, Johnny is survived by his loving lifelong partner, Patricia Neat Clan; 4 children, Julie T. Clan, Mikey Burba, April Maulden, and Heather Neeley; 6 siblings, Sherry Spayd, Kevin Vittitow, Greg, Doug, Melissa, and Sheila Hilbert; grandchildren, Paps pride and joy, Isabella (Bella Boo) Spears, Blaine Spears, Cannon Burba, John Thomas Burba Jr., and Austin Gaddis; 9 grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and close friends.
