John Anthony Sanders

John Anthony Sanders, III, age 78, of Louisville, KY, passed away on December 5, 2024. Born on July 21, 1946 in Louisville, John dedicated his life to hard work and family. He worked as a truck driver and a security guard, always known for his steadfast dedication and strong work ethic.

John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bridget Sanders; his son, John Allan Sanders; his parents, John Anthony Sanders, Jr. and Doris Marie Bate Sanders; and his brothers, Albert Sanders and Joseph Sanders.

John enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved playing bingo, listening to country music, and fishing—a reflection of his down-to-earth and kind-hearted nature.

He is survived by his son, Michael Sanders; stepson, James Tindle; brother, James Sanders; niece, Jessica Sanders; and nephew, Jason Sanders. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Amber Tindle and Tamra Tindle; great-grandchild, Ella Claire Tindle; and his daughter-in-law, Samantha Tindle.

A graveside service to honor John's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, KY.

John will be remembered for his love of family and his zest for life’s simple joys.
