John Rosell Reinert III

John Rosell Reinert III, born April 1, 1959, in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on November 23, 2025. John was the beloved son of the late John Rosell Reinert, Jr. and Patricia Ann Rosenbaum.

A gentle soul with a creative spirit, John had great natural talent for drawing. His sketches and artwork brought beauty, joy, and quiet reflection to those fortunate enough to see them.

John is survived by his loving sisters, Terri Marshall (Bill) and Carrie Reinert, and his brother, Mark Reinert (Janice). He will be dearly missed by his nieces: Trish Greer, Jessie Cox, Tiffany Cox, Tracey McIntosh (Sean), and Stacey Marshall; as well as his great-nephews, Aaron Marshall and Liam McIntosh.

He is preceded in death by his parents and by his sister, Janet Reinert, with whom he now rests in peace.

A Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 2 from 11 AM – 2 PM at Legacy Funeral Center – Schoppenhorst Chapel at 1832 West Market Street, Louisville, Kentucky  40203 with a Funeral Service to follow at 2 PM at the funeral home.

John’s quiet kindness and artistic legacy will remain with his family forever. His memory will be cherished, his talent remembered, and his presence deeply missed.
