Jessica Rae Norwood

Jessica Rae Norwood, 31, passed away, Thursday, March 31, 2022 . 

She was born May 25, 1990 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Rae M. (Magee) Norwood. Jessica was a stay at home mother, she enjoyed time with her children going to the park and playing in the sprinklers. She loved listening to music, was a excellent cook, and enjoyed cooking out as well. Jessica really enjoyed the holidays and she loved to make them special for everyone. She would get everyone a gift, she loved shopping on Amazon, she was very generous, and loved to help people. 

She is preceded in death by her father, James Norwood; her grandmother, Nora Magee; her uncle, Doc Magee; and her two cousins, Eric Bradley and Patrick Magee. 

Those left to cherish Jessica's memory are the three loves of her life, her children, Jayce R., Jordan R. and Jayden R. Norwood; her mother, Rae M. Norwood; her companion, Justin Edwards; her two sisters, Jamie R. Norwood (Jerry) and Brooklyn T. Norwood (Gregory); her three brothers, Jimmy Norwood, Jason Norwood (Shaunah) and Matthew Norwood (Selena); her niece, Saiyah Norwood; her two nephews, Ethan and Kayden Norwood; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from 10:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Center-Nunnelley Chapel, 4327 Taylor Blvd. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
