Jennifer Ann (Holmes) Thompson-Davis

Jennifer A. Thompson-Davis, 46, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on June 10, 1977, to the late James A. and Sheila D. Holmes in Louisville, Kentucky. Jennifer enjoyed spending time with her family, and was a loving mother and grandmother. She was dedicated to her job as a truck driver, and enjoyed all the sight-seeing she was able to see while driving. Jennifer was hardworking, strong willed, and very outspoken. She had a colorful, strong personality, and pushed hard to get a chance to see her beautiful granddaughter, Elena. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoyed listening to a wide variety of music, and racing, and riding around in antique cars. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her parents, James A. Holmes and Sheila D. McCoy Holmes.

Left to cherish her memory, Jennifer leaves behind 2 daughters, Jennifer Thompson (Cody Dabney), and Danyelle Thompson (Ricky Whitehouse); son, Keith Davis; granddaughter, Elena Dabney; aunts, Bev Franklin, and Marcella Smith; and a host of extended family and close friends.

A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Jennifer A. Thompson-Davis will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, August 27, 2022, at Legacy Funeral Center-Nunnelley Chapel, 4327 Taylor Blvd., Louisville, Kentucky. A memorial gathering will be held prior to the service from 12 PM to 4 PM, at the funeral home.
