Jennifer Lynn Goodman

Jennifer L. Goodman, 47, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 24, 2021 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on March 19, 1974 in Louisville, Kentucky to Carolyn Whitely Goodman and the late Louis Sherman Goodman.  Jennifer had a loving, outgoing personality and made friends wherever she went.  She was a loving mother and daughter, and enjoyed time with her family.  With her hardworking attitude, Jennifer fought a 13-year battle with many illnesses. Her strength and love will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her father, Jennifer is preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl and Iva Jean Whitely, and Millard and Mary Beltz; and an uncle, Gary Whitely.

Left to cherish her memory, Jennifer leaves behind her son, Seth Alexander Arledge; mother, Carolyn Goodman; aunt, Leona Stinson; uncle, Ronnie Oller; best friends, Shannon Stahl and Bonnie Smith; and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service for Ms. Jennifer L. Goodman will be held at 6 pm on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Legacy Funeral Center-Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market Street, Louisville, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 2-6 PM at the funeral home.
