Jeffrey D. Barnette

Jeffrey D. Barnette, age 63, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024. He was born in Concord, NC on March 27, 1961 to the late Donald and Mary Barnette.

In addition to his parents, Jeffrey is preceded in death by his wife, Shelly Dee Barnette and his son, Peter Brice Barnette.

He is survived by his son, Christopher Martin Barnette, grandson, Nathan F. Barnette, his daughter–in-law, Lesly Barnette and his spiritual family at Christ Gospel Church International.

Jeffrey was honorably discharged from the Navy. He worked for Armour Meat and was retired from General Electric. He was a member of Christ Gospel Church International for over 40 years.

Visitation will be at Legacy Funeral Home, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, on Thursday, November 14 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and again at Christ Gospel Church International, 2614 East Tenth Street, Jeffersonville on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 am with his funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
