Jeffrey “Scott” MacGregor, 58, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026, at Norton Clark Hospital. Born on September 8, 1967, in Louisville, Kentucky, Scott lived a quiet and simple life marked by loyalty, love, and gentle kindness.
Scott was a man who found joy in life’s small and meaningful moments. He had a deep love for animals and cherished the companionship of his pets over the years. A devoted fan of University of Louisville sports, he could often be found cheering on his favorite teams with pride and enthusiasm.
As a young man, Scott attended Jeffersonville High School, where he played both football and baseball, forming memories and friendships that would stay with him throughout his life. He also developed a lifelong passion for coin collecting, a hobby that brought him both peace and fascination.
Above all, Scott’s greatest love was his mother, Carolyn, whom he cherished more than anything in the world. Their bond was unbreakable, and his devotion to her was evident in all that he did.
Scott is survived by his loving mother, Carolyn MacGregor; his brother, Ryan MacGregor; his uncle, Butch Bunnell; and numerous extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, William Clark MacGregor.
Scott will be remembered for his quiet strength, kind heart, and the steady presence he provided to those who knew and loved him. Though he may have lived a simple life, the love he gave and the memories he leaves behind are anything but small.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Legacy Scott Chapel, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. No services will be held.
