Janice Marie Bolin was born April 14th, 1965 in Versailles, Kentucky to the late Charles P. Bolin and Mary M. (Rodgers) Bolin.
She departed this life on November 30th, 2022. Janice Bolin was a former employee for Masterson and Check’s Café, but she will be remembered for her magnetic smile and her outgoing energetic personality. Her heart was so big and her love was so strong she would help anybody in need. She was known as the “neighborhood Momma”. She was an avid U of L fan. She enjoyed gardening, taking care of her cats and dogs. Besides her peace and quiet she enjoyed listening to her gospel music. Janice Bolin confessed her love for Christ at a young age and was an active member of Kingdom Land Baptist Church where her husband Prince Cotton was an active deacon.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Demetric Bolin; grandson, Jaden Maddox; and brother Charles F. Bolin.
Those left to cherish her memory are her five children, Princess Bolin, Santa Fa McCrowie (Tremayne), Prince Bolin, Matthew Bolin and David Bolin; extended brother, James Clark; extended sister, Cannise Phoenix and Lynda Daugherty; and God-daughter, Shannon Daugherty; and eight grandkids and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 11th, 2022 from 1-3 p.m. with funeral services starting at 3:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home-Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market Street
