Janet Marie Stotts, 58, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at her home in Louisville, Kentucky. Born on July 26, 1965, to David and Joyce Stotts, Janet was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who touched many lives with her warm and welcoming nature.

Janet cherished her family above all else and found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren. Her laid-back demeanor was balanced by her occasional flair for drama, a trait that endeared her to those who knew her well. A true soap opera enthusiast, Janet's love for the genre reflected her appreciation for life's many stories and characters.

She never met a stranger and embraced everyone as a friend, creating a broad and loving community around her. Janet invested herself deeply in her relationships, always prioritizing her family and friends. Her home was a haven of warmth and laughter, where everyone felt welcome and valued.

Janet's legacy is one of love, kindness, and a deep sense of family. She leaves behind a family that adored her and friends who will forever miss her vibrant spirit. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents, David and Joyce Stotts; a brother, Jimmy Caudill; and a sister, Dimples Caudill.

Left to cherish her memory, Janet is survived by 4 children, Brittany Smith (Adrian Jr.), Gary Bradford, Teisha Fields (Rocky), and Holly Bradford; 4 siblings, David Stotts (Jackie), Darryl Stotts, Tommy Shannon, and Tony Stotts (Kayla); 11 grandchildren, Dalys Bradford, Terrance Smith, Adrienna Smith, Kalenia Bradford, Brayden Bradford, Hailey Bell, Kayden Fields, Maddie Fields, Javion Tolliver, Camron Weathers, and Adrian smith III; significant other, David McKinney Jr.; father to children, Gary Bradford; and a host of extended family and close friends.

A visitation for Ms. Janet Marie Stotts will be held from 12 PM to 5 PM on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Legacy Funeral Center – Nunnelley Chapel, 4327 Taylor Blvd, Louisville, Kentucky.
