Jamie Marie Borders, age 52, was born on May 29, 1974, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late James Frazier, Sr. and Patricia Marie Borders.

Jamie worked as a pharmacist and was known as a wonderful caregiver who was always willing to help others. She had a generous heart and was the kind of person who put everyone else before herself. Jamie found joy in the simple things in life. She loved sitting in her van in the sunshine, watching the Real Shorts app on her phone, visiting Gatlinburg, Tennessee, online shopping, celebrating the holidays, tending to her flowers, and growing tomatoes in her garden. Above all, Jamie treasured her family and the time she spent caring for the people she loved.

Jamie leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Robert Ray Borders, Jr.; her children, Joshua Borders (Bree), Douglas “Budd” Lee Borders (Alexa), Michael Borders (Jessa Dillander), Jacob Borders, and Isabella Carroll; bonus daughter, Kayla Sanders; and her grandchildren, Hayden, Trentyn, Kynnedi, Michael Jr., Mackenzie, Jayla, Jaxon, Jace, Claira, Douglas Jr., Baby Jamie; bonus grandchildren, Delayla and Khloe Clark.

She is also survived by her brothers, Joe Borders, Jackie and James Frazier (Shannon); her sisters, Denise Balata, Andrea Carroll, Crystal Johnson; her uncles and aunt, Dave and Theresa Frazier; nephew, James Frazier, Jr., Jabari Gaston; nieces, Samantha and Cassie Carroll, Kaitlyn Abell, Kayce Frazier; friend, Jeanette Mullins and many other beloved family members and friends. She will also be lovingly remembered by her beloved Huskie, Ace.

Jamie was preceded in death by her parents, James Frazier, Sr. and Patricia Marie Borders; her nieces, Kirsten and Janiyah; her father-in-law, Robert Borders, Sr.; her uncles, Larry and Tommy Masden; her grandmother, Mary Frazier; and her childhood best friend, Sandy Adams.

Jamie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her caring spirit, generous heart, love for her family, and the countless ways she helped others will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
