James Jesse Kinley Sr.

James Jesse Kinley Sr., 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at the University of Louisville Hospital.  Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Legacy Funeral Center- Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market Street in Louisville, Kentucky, with cremation to follow. 

Jimmy was born on September 20, 1944, in Louisville, KY, to the late, William and Dorothy Kinley.  He worked as a landscaper but he was truly a jack of all trades and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.  He enjoyed traveling in his RV, singing karaoke, and playing a game of pool.  Jimmy proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Kinley; two daughters, Helen Booth, Connie Kinley; and three siblings. 

He is survived by four children, Linda Kinley, Scott Kinley, and twins, Jimmy Kinley (Kerrey), and Bobbie Kinley (Mike); two brothers, Bill Kinley (Betty), John Kinley (Rita); seventeen grandchildren, Jennifer, Tessa, Cody, Christopher, Scott, Jessica, Nick, Tony, Austin, Tristan, Gabe, Eva, Dana, James, Paityn, Taylor, Heather Sue; and two great-grandchildren, Kleo and Spencer.
