Heather Eddins

Heather Mae Eddins, age 39, of Louisville, KY, passed away on November 23, 2024. Born on
March 13, 1985, in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late Donald Bartholomew Doyle and
Dena June Eddins.
Heather was a dedicated employee of the U.S. Postal Service, known for her hard work and
vibrant personality. She had a zest for life, enjoying concerts, hiking, and exploring trails.
Heather found solace in meditation and writing and was deeply spiritual, often feeling and
empathizing with the pain of others. Her love for the beach and time spent with family brought
her immense joy.
Heather is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Charles and Nancy Eddins and
Rosemary Hoag; uncles, Jack and Robbie; and her brother-in-law, Thomas "Dink" Stillings.
She is survived by her loving companion, Kevin Wayne Stillings, Sr.; her beloved children,
Andrea June Stillings and Kevin Wayne Stillings, Jr.; her siblings, Megan Harris (Daniel),
Melinda Eddins (Rick), Donald "Chris" Eddins (Bobbi), William Maddox (Alisha), Charlie
Doyle, Fred Maddox (Shelby), Brittany Maddox, and Brandie Ashley (Scott); and her stepfather,
Eddie Maddox. Heather also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and
friends.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the Legacy Nunnelley
Chapel Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd., Louisville, KY 40215, with cremation to follow.
Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. until time of the service on Tuesday.
