Gwendolyn Denise Reynolds

Gwendolyn Denise Reynolds, 54, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021, in Louisville, Kentucky.  She was born on March 5, 1967 to Mary Van Meter Reynolds in Louisville, Kentucky. Gwendolyn was a very outgoing, sweet and beautiful person. She loved being outdoors, hanging out and swimming around the pool. Gwendolyn was a huge fan of Harley Davidson motorcycles, the Louisville Cardinals and NASCAR. She especially enjoyed watching the Daytona 500. In her spare time, she loved to cook, shop and travel. Gwendolyn will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Gwendolyn was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Holland Lee Reynolds and Brian Edward Reynolds; and her grandfather, George Edward Van Meter.

Left to cherish her memory, Gwendolyn leaves behind, her mother, Mary Van Meter Reynolds; daughter, Heather Marie Brown; 2 grandchildren, James Woodford and Mayben Brown; grandmother, Ruby Van Meter; 4 aunts, Brenda Burk, Winnie Van Meter, Shirley Awtrey and Judy Portman; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins with a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service for Ms. Gwendolyn Denise Reynolds will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Legacy Funeral Center-Nunnelley Chapel, 4327 Taylor Blvd., Louisville, Kentucky 40215. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 2 PM to 8 PM and prior to the service from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, at the funeral home. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery will follow the service.
