Gregory J. Middleton

Gregory J. Middleton was born on December 27th 1958 in New Albany, Indiana to Omer and Georgia Middleton.

On November 22th, 2003 he was united in Holy Matrimony to Angele Boller of Jeffersonville. On November 17th, 2020 he departed this life at Kindred Healthcare after a brief illness.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents Omer, Sr. and Georgia Middleton, and brothers Melvin and Morris.

He attended school in both Floyd County and Clark County school systems, graduating from Jeffersonville High School in 1978.

Greg confessed Christ early in life. He was a youth football coach in the Jeffersonvile area. He worked at Kitchen Kompact for several years and Mosier Leather Co. for several years as well.

Greg was deeply devoted to family and well known in the community and had an infectious sense of humor. He loved bike riding and was an avid sports fan, especially football. 

He was always happy to help others and provided transportation, lawn care, and junk removal. 

He is survived by his wife, Angele, son, Cory Palmer (Amayah) of Louisville, KY. Surviving siblings include Edna Lee of Jeffersonville, Omer (Bennye) of Louisville, Curtis (Janet) of Louisville, William (Edwina) of Maryland, Deborah Gales (Melvin) of Georgia, Wanda Murdoch (Steve) of Jeffersonville, Ronald of Jeffersonville, Jacqueline Veals (Ernest) of Virginia, Clark (Angela) of Jeffersonville, and Portia of Louisville, and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
