Gordon G. McCall

Gordon McCall, 89, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 20, 2023 . He was born on January 25, 1934 in Hector, Minnesota, son of Richie and Valeryn McCall. Gordon was self employed and owned Jeff Comm a marine communication Company and was a faithful member of Faith Lutheran Church. Gordon  was a United States Air Force veteran and was a member of the Jeffersonville Optimist Club. He could trouble shoot anything, had a special talent in electronics, gardening, fishing and woodworking. Anyone who received a woodworking treasure was truly blessed.

 He is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 69 years and 1 month, Dorothy McCall. Gordon is survived by his daughters, Linda Woehrle (Mike), Val Manley (Tony); sister, Mary McCall Kulberg (Walter); along with three grandchildren, Brandon Woehrle (Grace), Missy Berger (Bryan), Clay Manley (Laura); six great grandchildren, Trey, Wyatt, Wheatley Berger, Ford, Mac, Laney Manley.

There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 4-8pm at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. Service will be on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 11am with more visitation before from 9-11am at Legacy Funeral Center. Burial will follow at Indiana Veterans Cemetery in Madison, Indiana.
