Gertrude Tindall, 51, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 in Louisville, Kentucky. Gertrude was born in New Albany, Indiana to the late Charles Dexter and Brenda K. Spencer. She was a big kid at heart, who loved Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Gertrude was very active and outgoing. She loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed those lazy days off, watching the Green Bay Packers with her fiancé Nathanial. In her spare time, Gertrude could be found drinking Big Red, doing arts and crafts, playing bingo or experimenting with ideas from TikTok. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Gertrude was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene C. Tindall Sr.; son, Kenneth Wayne Dexter; daughter, Rhonda K. Dexter; and a brother, Thurman Roger Baker.
Left to cherish her memory, Gertrude leaves behind 2 sons, Eugene Tindall Jr. and Charles R. Tindall; sister, Leslie Holmes; niece, Tiffany Blakley (Stephen Stine); 3 nephews, David Skaggs, Dakota Haley Jr. and Dalton Haley; great nephew, Trevor Skaggs; and a host of extended family and friends.
A funeral service for Mrs. Gertrude Tindall will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 7 PM at Legacy Funeral Center-Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market Street, Louisville, Kentucky. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 4 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
