Gary W. Skaggs, age 68, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by loved ones.
Born on April 15, 1957, in Louisville, Kentucky, Gary was the cherished son of Leroy and Arlene Skaggs. He graduated from Western High and Bellarmine University with Bachelor of Arts Business degree. Gary dedicated over 40 years of his life as a respected concrete dispatcher. In his later years, he found great joy and fulfillment working as a talented home remodeler.
Gary loved spending time on the golf course and out on the water boating with his wife and friends.. A proud University of Kentucky fan, Gary was known for his kind heart, steady presence, and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Gary loved and was loved by all animals.
Gary’s life was reserved and full of compassion, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Arlene Skaggs. He is survived by his loving wife , Jeanine Skaggs; uncle, Bobby Newton(Joetta); mother-in-law, Janet Rodgers; brother-in-law, Steve Simpson; sister-in-laws, Teresa McMurry(Greg), Rhonda McGee(Ken); along with nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
There will be a visitation held on Monday, May 12, 2025 from 3-7pm, with service to follow at 7pm at Resurrection Life Church, 2804 Blackiston Mill Road, Clarksville, Indiana 47129.
