Frankie Dominic "Nick" Lieras

Frankie Dominic “Nick” Lieras, 64, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 in Louisville, Kentucky.  Nick was born October 9, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Frank and Alice Lieras.  He was funny and energetic. Nick loved taking care of his cats, music with a good beat, and watching his UK Wildcats play. In his spare time, Nick could be found fishing, watching old westerns, playing trivia and singing karaoke.  Nick was a proud Marine and loved working on C130’s.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Frank and Alice Lieras, Nick is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Michael Lieras and Steven Lieras.

Left to cherish his memory, Nick leaves behind 2 children, Michael Lieras (Elizabeth) and Jennifer Kaltofen (Freddie); 5 grandchildren, Marissa Lieras, Joshua Lieras, Aidah Lieras, Seth Kaltofen, and Derick Kaltofen; 1 great grandchild, Elliana; 2 siblings, Donnie Lieras and Marie Spriggs (Barry); longtime friend, Cindy Lieras; and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service for Mr. Frankie Dominic Lieras will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Legacy Funeral Center – Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market St., Louisville, KY 40203.  Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 3 PM on prior to the service.
