Frank Braden

Franklin Leroy Braden, 64, of Charlestown, Indiana passed away at his home on June 1, 2022. He was born on February 3,1958 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was the son of Pervis Wesley (Bob) Braden and the late Mary Rose (Riggs) Braden.

Frank was a Christian, private contractor. sculptor and a dedicated worker. He enjoyed spending time with his family and a rousing ‘game night’ with siblings when he was in town. A lifetime of creative sculpting recognized by many for his attention to detail, especially his western cowboys and horses, and his heartfelt sharing of art with young people at Jeffersonville High School is testament of the goodness of his heart. He loved to fish and talked often of the joys he shared with his grandkids at the lake and he and his wife, Dixie, loved to walk on the beach.

He was preceded in death by his mother. Frank is survived by his loving wife, Dixie (Butler) Braden; daughter, Eva Parnell (Travis); father, Bob Braden, siblings, Nora Pritchett (Alan), Peggy Young (George), Sandra Hartlieb (Ron), Bob Braden (Jane), Bibi Richardson (Jim), Harry Braden, Jeff Braden (Karam), and Rick Braden, along with 3 grandchildren, Austin, Braden, Mia Skye and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial visitation from 3:00-6:00 PM

Frank has requested that all visitors would celebrate his life by wearing blue jeans and khaki or similar shirt. Men could also wear their favorite cap.
