Eileen Esther Rogers was born in Louisville, Kentucky on May 19, 1945 and passed away in Corydon, Indiana on August 31, 2026.

Eileen is survived by her children, Tina Stidham (Kelvin) and Wendy Wooten (Roger); her grandchildren Jacob Stidham (Emma), Andy Stidham (Em), Jess Morgan, and Ariel Harmon (Daniel); her great-grandchildren Atlas and Wyatt; her In-laws, Dianne Herdt, Larry Johnson (Pat), and Joe England and several other nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Marguerite Herdt, her husband, Bill Rogers; and siblings, Russell, Charlie, David, Shirley and Danny.

Eileen found great enjoyment playing games and gambling, “going to the boat” and enjoyed taking trips to Vegas. She was very crafty and loved to make things and collect trinkets. Eileen was known for speaking her mind freely and she always told you what she thought. She leaves a legacy of being a hard worker in all she did. She always loved to drink her Coke and eat sweets, putting sweetness and sugar on everything. She was known for her skills as a great dancer.

 A visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 8 from 1 PM to 8 PM at the Legacy Funeral Center - Nunnelley Chapel at 4327 Taylor Boulevard, Louisville, Kentucky 40215 with a Funeral Service on Wednesday, September 9 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.

Eileen will be fondly remembered for her life, legacy and love by her family and friends.
