Dwayne Densford, 62, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on March 14, 2025, at Clark Rehab in Jeffersonville. He was born on April 24, 1962, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the son of Frank and Irene Densford.
Dwayne was known for his dedication to his work, having spent many years as a driver for the American Red Cross, where he made lasting contributions and formed many valued relationships. His commitment to service and reliability was evident in all he did.
Outside of work, Dwayne was a family man who cherished time spent with loved ones. He had a passion for music, and it was a constant source of enjoyment throughout his life. Dwayne was also an avid collector, with a particular fondness for bubble gum machines, a hobby that brought him both joy and nostalgia. He had a deep love for horror movies and spent countless hours watching his favorites. Additionally, Dwayne had a talent for working on cars, often finding satisfaction in repairing and restoring them.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Norma, Frank Jr., Ralph, Danny, Denise, Nancy.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Margaret Densford; daughter, Jessica Bertholf(Josh); sisters, Brenda Lloyd(Ronnie), Wanda Jenkins, Pam Densford, Sandi Cummings; brother, Melvin “Butch” Brown; grandchildren, Ariana, Abigail, Cody.
There will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 11-3pm at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.
