Drew Preston Allgood

Drew Preston Allgood, 27, of Louisville, KY, passed away on August 6, 2024. 

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Legacy Funeral Center – Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market Street, Louisville, KY 40203, with cremation to follow.  Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 PM on Friday at the funeral home.  A celebration for family and friends will be held immediately following services at the Shawnee Post 193 on 28th & Main in Portland, KY. 

Drew was born on April 1, 1997 in Louisville, KY to his loving parents, Sheandah Allgood and Timothy Campbell.  He was a brilliant artist and had a unique gift for blending creativity with passion, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he met. His love for cooking was a testament to his generosity and warmth, bringing people together through meals and his large heart. His vibrant spirit, boundless creativity, and kindness will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arley Embry and Lillian Hines; and cousin, Devin Eggers.

He is survived by his beloved and loving son, Preston Cash Allgood; mother, Sheandah Allgood; father, Timothy Campbell (Melissa); grandmother, Louise Embry; brothers, Jake Allgood (Kayla), Daylon Clyburn (Ariel), Cole Campbell (Caylie), Joshua Cheatham, and Chad Cheatham; fiancé, Holly Chapman; niece, Octavia; nephews, Hayden, Leonidas; aunt, Michelle Masters; uncles, Jesse Allgood, Todd Allgood, Jeff Allgood (Charlene), Lonnie Byers (Tracy), and Lance Hines (Megan); and numerous extended family members and countless friends. 

Memorial contributions can be made to the Allgood Family for Drew’s son, Preston Cash.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
