Dora Elaine (Hall) White

Dora Elaine White (Hall), passed away, Saturday, October 2, 2021 on her 91st birthday; surrounded by her loving family. 

Dora was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Samuel S. Hall and Grace C. (McWhorter) Hall. She was retired from the Iroquois Housing Authority ; where she served over 18 years as a administrative assistant. Dora loved to play bingo, go to yard sales, she was a great cook, and a true matriarch of her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, John T. White; daughter, Catherine White; son, Steve White; brother, Bob Hall; and sister, Peggy Brown. 

Survivors include her daughter, Starlene Starks; five grandchildren, Jenny Johns (Stevie), Magen White (Troy), Nikki McDaniel (Shaun), Holly Shidler and Patrick Shidler (Joy); eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Center-Nunnelley Chapel, 4327 Taylor Blvd. Funeral services will be held immediately following at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
