Donald "Dutch" Ray Miller

Donald Ray “Dutch” Miller, 80, passed away, Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at home with his loving family by his side.

Dutch was born March 5, 1943 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Roy Lee and Bessie Lee Miller. He was a retired truck driver for Williams Food Service and a member of West End General Baptist Church. He was a retired boxer, he sparred Muhammed Ali, enjoyed playing cards, watching sports on TV, he was an avid UK fan, and enjoyed watching horse racing. He served the Lord by driving the church van. Dutch was a family man at heart, loved and enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Miller and Bobby Miller; grand-daughter, Stephanie Goodman; great-grand daughter, Journey Carol and great-grandson Kamyn Goodman.

Those left to cherish his memory are his dedicated, loving wife, Betty Jean “Faye” (Oakes) Miller; three sons, Rodney Goodman, Jamie Miller (Sandy) and Timmy Miller (Heather); twenty grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 19, 2023 from Noon-8:00 p.m. and Monday, March 20, 2023 from 10:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. with funeral services starting at 11:00 a.m. at Legacy Funeral Center-Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market Street with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens .
