Donald Eugene Pfraehler

Donald Eugene Pfraehler, 88, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 12, 1932 in Dayton, Ohio. Don worked with the Core of Engineers, G.R.W Engineers, and he also worked many years in construction for E.H. Hughes Construction Company. He was an Army veteran who served in The Korean War and he was a member of the American Legion Post #35 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Don enjoyed staying at Patoka Lake and spending quality time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Rogers and his siblings. Don is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Peggy (Rogers) Pfraehler; sister, Florence “Tootie”; daughter, Deborah Saltsman; son Rick Saltsman and his wife Joyce; two grandchildren; Berkley and her husband Julio and Brett and his wife Chelsea; three great- grandchildren, Emma, Arai, Everett; best friends; Grant and Margaret Morton and their family.

 There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 11-3PM with service to follow at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.
