Domenick F. Dante, 88, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, May 30, 2021 in Crestwood, Kentucky. He was born to the late Christopher C. and Maria Roman Dante in Central City, Pennsylvania on December 8, 1932. Domenick heroically served his country in the Army during the Korean War. Once he returned home, Domenick worked in maintenance for the Ford Motor Company for 26 years. Domenick loved music, dancing, racecars and fishing. He was full of energy and hardly ever sat still. In his spare time, he could be found tinkering with things in his garage. Domenick was also a lifetime member of the VFW. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Domenick was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia Little Dante; siblings, Elvira Lombardi, Margaret Kubiak, Virginia Dante and James Dante; and long-time companion, Rose Taylor.
Left to cherish his memory, Domenick leaves behind 3 daughters, Donna Schindler (Michael) of Crestwood, KY, Barbara Spicer (Keith) of Winchester, KY, and Tina Suell (Garry) of Jeffersonville, IN; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
A funeral service for Mr. Domenick Dante will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 12:30 PM at Legacy Funeral Center-Nunnelley Chapel, 4327 Taylor Blvd., Louisville, Kentucky 40215. Visitation will be held from 5 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home on June 3, 2021, and at 12 PM, prior to the service. Burial at Resthaven Memorial Park will follow the funeral service.
