Diana Snider Obituary

Diana Lynn Snider, age 70, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025, surrounded by the love of her devoted family. Known for her fierce loyalty, unwavering strength, and boundless heart, Diana lived a life defined by grit, grace, and the deep affection she held for those closest to her.

Born with an independent spirit and a fearless drive, Diana spent much of her life as an over-the-road truck driver—a career she cherished not just for the open roads, but for the freedom and purpose it brought her. Even after a stroke left her unable to return to the driver’s seat, her passion for trucking never faded. She continued to carry the heart of a driver: steady, dependable, and full of resilience.

Diana loved her family with every fiber of her being. She gave selflessly, often sacrificing her own comfort and needs to care for the people she loved. Whether it was offering a warm place to stay, a listening ear, or simply her time, Diana never hesitated to give what she had—no matter how much or how little—if it meant someone else would be better for it.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Mary Snider; brother, Larry Snider; and cherished dogs, Buddy and BJ.

She is survived by her beloved niece, Amanda DeVore (David); great nieces and nephews, Selena Quiroz, Landon Lopez, Dakota Lopez, Aleigha DeVore, Miranda Menjivar, Nathalia Torres, and Marellie Torres; her lifelong friend and sister in heart, Marsha DeVore; and her surrogate nephew, Osmin Menjivar. To each of them, Diana was more than just family—she was a guiding presence, a source of wisdom, and a tireless protector.

She will be remembered for her strength, her no-nonsense honesty, her capacity for deep love, and her willingness to give everything she had for the sake of others. Whether you knew her for a moment or a lifetime, Diana had a way of leaving an impression that wouldn’t fade.

In accordance with her wishes, Diana has been cremated. Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street in Jeffersonville, has been entrusted with her care.

Her journey on the road may be over, but her love and legacy continue to ride on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
