Devyn Nicole Cook Obituary

Devyn Cook, 30, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2026, surrounded by the family who loved her so deeply. Her passing leaves an unimaginable emptiness in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Devyn was truly the life of the party. She was never afraid to have a good time, break out in a dance, or do whatever it took to make the people around her laugh. Her laughter, bold personality, and ability to bring joy into a room will be remembered by everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

Devyn had a tough outer shell, but underneath it was a heart that was incredibly soft. She was fearless, fiercely protective, and loved her family with everything she had. Above all else, Devyn’s proudest title was Mom. Her daughters, Nayome and Rylee, were her greatest loves and the center of her world. The love she had for them was unmatched, and she would do anything to protect and care for her girls.

Devyn was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother and grandfather, Harriett Wheatley and David Peacock.

She leaves behind her mother, Nikki Peacock; father, Glenn Cook; stepmother, Tabatha; daughters, Nayome and Rylee; sisters, Brittany and Malory; brother, Kole; grandmother, Granny G; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends and loved ones who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

A visitation will take place on Monday, September 14, 2026 from 11 AM to 8 PM at the Legacy Funeral Center - Nunnelley Chapel at 4327 Taylor Boulevard, Louisville, Kentucky  40215 and Tuesday, September 15 from 10 AM to 11 AM with a funeral to follow at the funeral home at 11. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.

Devyn’s life may have been far too short, but the love, laughter, and memories she gave to those around her will last a lifetime.
