Obituary

Dennis I. Breidenbach, 79, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 12th at Baptist East Hospital. He was born on September 24, 1943 in Madison, Indiana,  son of Dennis and Roberta (Ennis) Breidenbach. Dennis retired from Roll-Forming Corp in Shelbyville, Kentucky after many years of dedicated service and was a member of Harvey Brown Presbyterian Church. 

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by a son, Scott Breidenbach. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Judy (Waegner) Breidenbach; son, Jeff Breidenbach (Brittanie); nephew, Martin Rogers of Pensacola, Florida, 5 grandchildren and numerous friends.

He was a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in mechanical engineering and graduated from Charlestown High School in Indiana. Dennis was a limited hydroplane driver for several seasons and enjoyed volunteering with the boy scouts in various capacities, proud member of Troop 1 Louisville Camp Masters and really enjoyed being a member of the Sneaky Snakes which was composed of past Woodbadge scout masters and the many friendships.

Dennis also received the Silver Beaver award along with others over the years in the Boy Scouts of America. He would like to be remembered for his compassion, kindness, smiles, and laughter. Dennis never met a stranger. 

There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date.
