Deborah Nuckles-Brown, 67, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Harry and Irene Schnell Niemeier on August 22, 1953. Deborah was a hardworking, caring and honest woman. She was a devoted mother and wife, and always took care of her family. Deborah was sophisticated and sassy, and very proud to have earned her college degree late in life. She will be remembered as a spitfire for her stern, blunt personality. Deborah will be greatly missed by all who love and remember her.
In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her loving husband, William “Bill” Brown.
Left to cherish her memory, Deborah leaves behind 3 children, Donald L. Nuckles Jr. (Stephanie), Dawn Desireé “Dede” Nuckles-Walker (Pete) and Michael L. Nuckles (Amanda); 2 brothers, William Niemeier (Beverly) and Clifton Niemeier Sr. (Doloris); 12 grandchildren, Trish Nunn (James), Aubrie Nuckles, Kristen Nuckles (Ryan Carter), Matthew Nuckles, Mitchell Nuckles, Meghan Nuckles, Haley Michelle Walker, Amber Lynn Walker, Charles “Lee” Walker, Erica Rose Walker, Cassandra “Cassie” Nuckles and Kaden Nuckles; 4 great grandchildren, Logan, Reed, Ayla and Ayce; her cherished furry sidekick, Spicy Fawn; and a host of extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held for Ms. Deborah Nuckles-Brown at 12 pm on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Legacy Funeral Center-Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market Street, Louisville, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Friday, April 23, 2021, at the funeral home, and from 10 AM until the service on Saturday.
