David E. May

David E. May, 62, of Pekin, Indiana passed away on May 11, 2024 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. He was born on August 9, 1961 in Jefferson County, Indiana.

He was survived by his 2 children, Iris May (Kyler Lawless) of Scottsburg Indiana and daughter Tiffany Briles (Jesse Briles) of Jeffersonville Indiana.

He was referred to a papa by his 3 grandsons; Caleb Adkins (22, New Albany) Tyler Johnson (16, Jeffersonville) and Cayden Johnson (13, Jeffersonville). Siblings were Maurice "Moe" May (Beth May) of Jeffersonville, Everett "Fry" May (Debbie May) of New Albany, and Annetta Jean May of New Albany; along with many nieces and nephews.

He loved being on his Harley, and truly lived the life of a biker with his brothers in the motorcycle club. He was funny, sometimes honorary, but loved to make people laugh. He did anything for anyone who asked him. As much as he loved, he wasn't scared to stand toe to toe with anyone who crossed him or messed with his family. Didn't matter how big they were, he never backed down.

There will be a visitation held on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 10-2pm with service to follow at 2pm located at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130
