David Lynn Baker, age 42, peacefully entered this world on loan from the Lord on December 25, 1980, a precious gift to David Louis and Alice (Linton) Baker of Louisville, KY,. He and his brother Darryl Baker grew up in Jeffersonville, IN.
On June 10, 2020, at Lincoln Park Church in Clarksville, IN, David was baptized, reaffirming his faith and commitment to his spiritual journey. He will forever be remembered for his vibrant and boisterous personality, a true testament to his joyous spirit. David possessed a natural gift for humor, lighting up the lives of those around him. His love and care extended not only to his family but to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
David had a profound passion for music, a source of endless inspiration in his life. He was a proud member of L. 0. D. (Lethal Overdose) and Heavy Hitter Records, where he shared his musical talents and creativity with the world.
David was preceded in death by his beloved parents, David Louis and Alice Baker, and fiance' Latasha Owens. He leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love that will forever endure.
He is survived by his two daughters, Dashara Baker and De'Airel, and his son, David Baker Jr. His granddaughter, Da'Love Crute, brought immeasurable joy to his life, and his memory will live on through her.
David's memory is also treasured by a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends who were touched by his infectious laughter and unwavering kindness.
A visitation to celebrate David's life will be held at Legacy Funeral Center on Monday, October 9, 2023, from 11 am to 3 pm. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at 3 pm on the same day, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember the remarkable life of David Lynn Baker.
Cremation was chosen with Legacy Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
