David Lawrence Johnson

David Lawrence Johnson, 76, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on October 7, 2021 at Clark Memorial Hospital with his daughters by his side.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, IN, with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Utica, IN.  Visitation will be held from 1 to 6 PM on Sunday and after 10 AM on Monday at the funeral home. 

David was a proud Veteran of the United States Army and retired from Greater Clark County Schools where he was a Custodian.  He loved spending his time fishing, going to the beach with Sharon and his family. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Juanita (VanPelt) Johnson; and parents, Boyd Lawrence Johnson and Juanita Bell Brady.

He is survived by his daughters, Bridgett Lynn Taylor (Kendrick) and DeAnna Renee' Anderson (Paul); grandchildren, David Taylor, Alexis Anderson, and Joyce Taylor; and great-grandchildren, Izabella, David and Matthew.
