Obituary
Darrell D. Cronkright, 59, passed away, Friday, March 17, 2023 at Jewish Hospital.
Darrell was born November 3, 1963 in L’Anse, Michigan to the late Duane A. Cronkright and Jean E. Hanninen. He was Baptist by faith and a retired computer science school teacher. Darrell enjoyed being and “playing” outdoors; he enjoyed kayaking, hiking, target practice and many other things. He also enjoyed traveling, DYI projects, and remodeling his home. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, William and James Scheibe.
Those left to cherish Darrell’s memory are his two children, Marissa Gibert and Andrew Cronkright; twelve siblings, Wayne Cronkright (Laura), JoAnn Mengini, Cheryl Cronkright, Carol Elliott (Tommy), Donald Cronkright (Katrina), Ronald Cronkright (Michelle), Dianna Cronkright, Tamara Maki (Geri), Lori Michael (David), Candace Jaklin (Dan), Kim Carlson and Sandra Jenkins (Steve); step-father, William Scheibe; two grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Legacy Funeral Center-Schoppenhorst Chapel in charge of arrangements.
